Spicy Peach Salad

For those of you who have difficulty in grabbing a piece of fruit, here’s a great simple fruit salad recipe that you’ll be sure to enjoy.

Ingredients:

5 peaches (not too soft, a little hard and tangy is good)

2 or 3 fresh green chillies or a sprinkle of chilli flakes (tastes better with fresh)

Dressing: lemon juice, sugar, salt

1. Wash and cut the peaches and cut into small cubes.

2. Prepare the dressing using 2 to 3 long squirts of lemon juice, 2 level tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt. Add the chillies and mix well.

3. Pour the dressing over the peaches and you’re done!

Enjoy!

Recommendations: This is a great side salad for barbequed or grilled foods. Or, you can simply eat it on its own.

  1. would this be good served with the baked yogurt? thanks!

  2. Hi Beth, thanks for checking out my website. Sorry for the late response to your question about the spicy peach salad. I don’t think it goes with the yogurt, but if you were throwing a dinner party and wanted to do both, that could work. The spicy peach salad is more of an appetizer or afternoon snack than a dessert. Hope that helps?
