Basmati Rice

 

 

Ingredients: (Serves 4)

3 cups Basmati Rice

 

How to:

Rice Cooker Method

1. Wash and drain the rice in a seive, rice cooker or pan until the water runs through clear. If using a rice cooker all you need to do is transfer the rice into the rice cooker, and add enough water to cover the rice with an additional 16oz on top.

2. Put the rice cooker on and walk away.

 

Stove-top Method

1. Wash and drain the rice in a seive, or pan until the water runs through clear.

2. Transfer rice to a pan and add enough water to cover the rice with an additional 16oz on top. Boil on high heat without a lid until all the water evaporates (about 10-12 minutes). Do not stir.

3. Put the lid on, lower the heat to a bare minimum and steam for 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
