BBQ Chicken Thighs

These BBQ chicken thighs are super easy to make! All you need is the following simple ingredients:

Pressure cook for 15 mins / Air fry for 10-12 mins at 400 degrees

Ingredients:

2 leg and thigh pieces (2 fit comfortably in the air fryer basket)

1/4 tsp course salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp BBQ rub of your choice (I used Grill Mates BBQ Rub)

BBQ sauce to top off the chicken (your choice. I used the Kinders medium brand)

How to:

  • Wash, clean and pat dry the chicken using a paper towel
  • Mix all seasonings in a bowl and stir well with a spoon
  • Rub the dry mixture all over the chicken and place in the air fryer basket
  • Pour 1 cup of water in the Ninja Foodi pot along with 1 tablespoon of the BBQ sauce, stir well using a silicon spatula/spoon and place air fryer basket in the pot
  • Turn on the pressure cooker and turn the pressure valve to SEAL
  • Pressure cook the chicken for 15 minutes
  • Once pressure cooking is complete, turn pressure valve to VENT for quick release
  • Once all pressure has been released and it’s safe to open, remove the pressure cooker lid
  • Brush the BBQ sauce over the chicken using a silicon basting brush
  • Close air fryer lid and air fry for 10-12 mins until you get the crispiness you want. Check halfway.
  • Serve immediately
